2026 Schedule

Graduate Information

Graduates who attend commencement are required to stay from arrival at 4:30 p.m. until the ceremony is complete at 8 p.m. Please make arrangements with work, family, and others to ensure you can attend the entire ceremony. Graduates may not leave early.

• Arrive at 4:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Casino Gate entrance. Due to the limited time to form lines in preparation for seating (which begins at 5:45 p.m.), it is crucial that you arrive on time.
• Student parking is in the Red Lot. Parking in other lots near stores may result in your vehicle being towed.
• Graduates check in at the tents at the Hollywood Casino Gate and then enter the Budweiser Brew House.
  • During the check-in process, you will receive your graduate name card and be directed to your graduate line. 
• Arrive with your cap, gown, tassel and your honor cord, if applicable, already on.
  
  • Note: Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher should have picked up their honor cord at a graduation fair. Honors are awarded for completed coursework. All Honors announced at the commencement ceremony are based on the Fall 2025 cumulative GPA.
    
• Graduates should limit personal items.
• Graduates may find it easier to wear something with pockets to hold phone, keys, etc. 
  • Important: No items can be left in the Budweiser Brew House. Once graduates leave, they cannot return to Brew House.
• Graduates should wear comfortable shoes as you there are stairs in each section and it's almost a mile walk to the ceremony.
  • Sharp, pointed heels (stilettos) are not allowed and may require a graduate to walk barefoot if worn to the ceremony.
• Students reunite with families outside of Sporting Park, following the ceremony.

Guest Information

• Each guest must present their mobile ticket or physical ticket for entry at the State Avenue Gate.
• All commencement seating is General Admission.
• Designated seating sections open for family and guests. Seating is available in those sections on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Because Sporting Park platforms have limited seating, please have are able-bodied guests
  reserve standard seats, allowing ADA platforms to be used by those with wheelchairs, crutches, and a companion.
  • For ADA assistance, please visit the Guest Experience Kiosk at Section 101.
• º£½ÇºÚÁÏ encourages all guests to be in their seats by 5:45 p.m. to ensure they see the students march into the arena.
• Graduates may not leave before the ceremony ends. Celebrations should not be planned until after 8 p.m.
• Students reunite with their families outside of Sporting Park following the ceremony.
• The ceremony will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Important Times

• Parking Lot Opens: 4 p.m.
• Students and Faculty - Gates Open: 4:30 p.m.
  • Students arrive at 4:30 and enter Hollywood Casino Gate
• Guests - Gates Open: 5 p.m.
  • Guests enter State Avenue Gate
• Graduates Procession Starts: 5:50 p.m.
• Ceremony Starts: 6 p.m.

Tickets

Update: Tickets are only available online.

All the printed tickets have already been distributed.

• Tickets are required to attend the º£½ÇºÚÁÏ Commencement.
• Tickets are free.
• Once tickets are claimed, the tickets transfer to SeatGeek. It is very important to use the same email address connected to SeatGeek account when claiming tickets.
  • If a different email is entered, the tickets may not transfer correctly.
• Tickets are provided through Sporting Park via the SeatGeek app. Each SeatGeek user may reserve up to four tickets.
  • Tickets for the ceremony aren’t capped, but each SeatGeek account can only reserve up to four tickets. If you need more, you’ll just need to reserve the extra tickets using another SeatGeek account.
  • If issues with SeatGeek account, contact SeatGeek at support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-uszhi@seatgeek.com.

Parking

• No parking at Nebraska Furniture Mart, Legend, or Bass Pro Shops.
• Vehicles must be removed from lots within one hour following the graduation ceremony.
• Vehicles not following parking guidance may be towed.

Student and Staff Parking - Red Lot

• Only for students driving themselves; not for guests or drop-off.
• Student drop off point is the Budweiser Brew House Cutout.
• Stadium Entry: From Red Lots proceed towards the stadium on the sidewalk on France Family Dr. Cross France Family Dr. and Village West Parkway and enter through the Budweiser Brew House.

Guest and ADA Parking - Blue Lot 1 and 2

• ADA drop off point is State Avenue (right turn lane to Sporting Way)
• Stadium Entry: From Blue Lots take the path between Blue Lots 1 and 2, cross State Avenue and enter through the State Avenue Gate.

Food and Beverage

• Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
  
  • Sporting Park is a cashless facility. Credit/Debit Card only.
• No outside food or beverage is allowed.

Clear Bag Facility

• Sporting Park is a clear-bag facility.
• Clear bags measuring 12” x 12” x 6” or smaller are permitted.
• Gift bags are not allowed. All guests will be subject to a security screening prior to entry.
• Sporting Park will adhere to MLS Best Practices and Gameday security guidelines.
  • Diaper bags (with an infant) and medical bags are permitted and subject to search.
• The only exceptions for graduations will be cameras and video cameras. All other items on the list, including umbrellas, backpacks, gift bags, and noisemakers, are prohibited for graduations.
