海角黑料 Announces New Partnership with the University of Missouri-Kansas City

Kansas City Kansas Community College is proud to announce its new partnership with the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) as a partner institution in the . The partnership creates a seamless transfer experience for 海角黑料 students who want to continue their education by transferring to UMKC.

The RooMentum Pathways program gives eligible students an opportunity to complete an associate degree at 海角黑料, and then seamlessly transfer to UMKC to complete a bachelor’s degree in only two additional years. Students in the program will have access to advising and degree planning services at UMKC, even before they transfer, ensuring every credit counts toward earning a bachelor’s degree. In addition, once a student has completed their associate degree at 海角黑料, they will be guaranteed to receive a merit-based scholarship of $2,500 or $3,500, reserved for transfer students.

“We are proud to partner with UMKC in creating more seamless transfer pathways for our students,” said Dr. Brady Beckman, director of Student Success and Retention. “Together, we’re building a stronger bridge between our institutions and opening doors to new opportunities for 海角黑料 graduates.”

UMKC Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Doug Swink said the expansion of RooMentum to include 海角黑料 strengthens the university’s commitment to supporting education access and workforce development for the region.

“RooMentum reduces barriers to completion while preparing graduates to contribute immediately to the Kansas City economy,” Swink said. “We are grateful for 海角黑料’s partnership in aligning the workforce pipeline with high-demand careers.”

To qualify for the RooMentum Pathways program, students must have at least a 2.25 overall grade point average with at least one year remaining at 海角黑料.
