Colleague Cloud Transition Nears Completion

April 10 2026 General

海角黑料 is entering the final stages of an important technology upgrade that will strengthen the systems supporting students, faculty and staff across campus. The transition of our core Ellucian Colleague system to a cloud-based environment marks a significant step forward in modernizing our operations and enhancing long-term reliability and performance.

Over the past several months, the project has made steady progress, reaching key milestones along the way. Teams have successfully completed data validation, integrated systems testing and payment processing verification, while continuing coordinated readiness efforts across functional, vendor and technical areas. The project is currently in the User Acceptance Testing phase, with results tracking positively. At the same time, work continues on reports, integrations and detailed cutover planning in preparation for launch.

The official go-live window is scheduled for June 12–19, beginning after close of business on June 12.

For students and faculty, the transition is expected to be seamless. Classes, coursework and teaching activities will continue as scheduled, with no disruption to instruction. The learning management system and other instructional tools will remain fully available throughout the transition.

This milestone reflects the collective effort of many individuals across campus. Faculty, staff and project team members have contributed their time, expertise and attention to detail to bring the project to this point. Their collaboration and commitment have been essential in advancing this work. As the college moves through the final stages of testing and preparation, additional updates will be shared.
